This colorful vintage Fortis Marinemaster Super Compressor is a 1970s diver’s watch. The elaborate dial shows the decompression table, with a date window at 6 o’clock. The extraordinary set of hands consists of a red minute hand, a steel hour hand and a lollipop second hand. The luminous material is original and intact in all hands and hour markers. This Fortis Marinemaster has the so-called Super-Compressor case, which was designed by Ervin Pequerez. As the diving depth increases, the housing is pressed harder against the seal and thus greater waterproofing of the housing is achieved. The wristwatch is equipped with two crowns, lower for adjusting the time and date and the upper crown for rotating the inner diver bezel. Crowns are cross-hatched in super compressor style. The Fortis Marinemaster is encompassed in a 42mm steel case and is placed on a genuine leather strap.
