The Cloisonn? Clown Figure, even though not marked, is clearly by Mary Amelia Kretsinger. This piece is made in 14K gold and has colorful enamel though out the brooch. All of the enamel work is distinct and vivid colors that do not mix or blur. This brooch is also able to be converted over to a pendant as well. Hanging from the bottom of the piece are dangling glass beads to add a little motion to the clown juggling colorful orbs in the air. This image is carried over into the frame of the brooch with 14K half domed discs that make this such an off-beat piece.
