This Boy Scout “BE PREPARED” 1920’s Ingersoll Pocketwatch has a stainless-steel case and a dial that has a camping scene with trees and tent. A sub dial at the 6’oclock position has a brass die-cut Scout symbol reading “Be Prepared” that revolves around the dial as the hand. The yellow hands are sign posts, one reading “A Scout Is”(this side has been worn off) and “Be Prepared.” As minute hand revolves, it points to 12 attribute words printed on dial’s outer edge, forming slogan, for example, “A Scout Is Trustworthy.” The case measures 48.8mm horizontally.
